Victoria, 1882, AE77, Unique?
BHM3128 Wt. 197.95gr. Queen Victoria’s visit to Epping Forest. part of the City of London series. This medal comes with its original leather case and what makes this item extremely rare it also comes with the original colored framed pass (8.5×12 inches) to the event. The gold embossing on the case is faded, but complete, the case shows some wear on the corners but most of all, the medal is absolutely superb and likely one of the finest known. I have never seen the medal and pass together, it is a combination that is likely unique. Ex Dix, Noonan and Webb auction 11/28/1997 lot 328. FDC
