REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Coins and Commemorative medals:
We know that buying anything on the internet is a bit daunting, especially so for rare, expensive coins. We want your experience with Abbeygate Coins to be stress free. To that effect we guarantee all coins and commemorative medals are guaranteed to be genuine, unless described as a counterfeit or reproduction. Any coin or commemorative medal is returnable for any reason provided, they are returned and received by us within 15 days of the invoice date and are returned in their original and unopened holder. All items sent to locations outside the United States can, at our discretion, be provided more time for returns provided they contact us via email. There is one exception . Due to fluctuating bullion prices, Items whose value are based solely on bullion ( as indicated by an asterisk in the item title) are NOT returnable.
Books, Coin Supplies, Stamps, Coin Cabinets and all other Miscellaneous Items
The above items are all returnable.
Postage and Insurance
All item pricing includes the cost of postage and insurance.
All items sent to locations outside the United States will be sent by registered mail and due to postal rules are insured to the maximum of $100 only. Any items exceeding this value are sent at THE BUYERS RISK. We will be happy to send items via other methods ( ie courier) provided the buyer provides written instructions and payment for such services. All items sent within the United States will be sent either insured or registered mail depending on the invoice value. Large items such as books, catalogues, coin cases and other bulky items may also be sent by Federal Express or UPS. Once again if a buyer within the United States wishes to use specific method (i.e. a private UPS account) please advise us when making your purchase. The buyer assumes all responsibility to contact us immediately via email should there be any actual or suspected damage.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If our returned policy has been followed we will issue a prompt refund. Your refund will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Payment made by personal check will be refunded by check. PLEASE NOTE: AS THE LIST PRICE OF ALL PURCHASED ITEMS INCLUDES THE COST OF POSTAGE AND INSURANCE, THE REFUNDED AMOUNT WILL NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF POSTAGE AND INSURANCE WE INCURRED SENDING THE ITEM(S) TO YOU. We will advise you via email of the actual amount being refunded.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: PO Box 4542 Boise ID 83711. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Your return shipping costs are non-refundable unless we have sent an incorrect item.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. An uninsured returned item lost during the return process will not be eligible for a refund.
