MI695/93  3.31gr.  Obv: Bust of Mary facing right hair tied back in knot. “MARIA II DEI GRA” Rev: Rose branch with a single large bloom.  “EX CANDORE DECUS” (Its beauty derives from its splendor).  A few lite random marks well disguised by lovely rose, cobalt and gold toning over prooflike fields. The finest of the few examples I have seen in the past 50 years. An undated tribute medal issued in 1689 upon the accession of Mary and her husband William of Orange to the British throne.
