Collectors of medals know the extreme difficulty in finding choice, pristine examples of any commemorative medallion in “white metal”. The surfaces would develope tiny abrasions with even  light handling and most were often cleaned totally destroying any eye appeal. This particular example is a rare survivor of an issue produced with mirrored fields for coronation of Edward and Alexander. This issue is usually found holed for wear with a ribbon and horribly scuffed. At any rate this medal is very rare this nice, extremely rare with its original cardboard case. FDC
