BHM3219 Wt. 216.77gr. The official golden jubilee medal in bronze by Boehm. A massive medal absolutely superb and a real work of the engravers art. No marks, no spots and contained in its original red leather case AND with its original certificate. Reflective brown fields flash some indigo and gold highlights. Rare with the case and very rare with the original documentation. Although 4257 were struck, few retain their original certificate a century and a half later.  I doubt that a finer example exists. In 2023 Heritage auctions sold an NGC MS66 example (the highest graded) for $900. Ex CNG Auction March 1998 lot 2901. FDC
