S1917 North 1505 wt. 3.86gr London mint. Leaf-pellet issue. Leaf on neck, lis on breast, pellet either side of crown and a pellet in two quarters of the reverse. A superb portrait on a large flan. The highest graded by NGC of this type and except for two groats of a different variety, the highest graded groat of the entire Lancastrian series. Heritage auctions sold an AU55 example of the more common annulet issue in Feb 2024 for 0ver $3100. NGC MS63+
